Finally, here we are, now back on the track again.
We owe you an apology.
For the silence, the “no” updates, the “no” new products, the “no” news and other “no” things.
We won’t tell you why and how this happened, because it’s not only you who is frustrated with that “no” age, it also a dark age of our time.
We don’t want to re-open that bad memories, all we want to do now is to fix it all, to change it all with “Big changes”.
We’ll explain about these Big Changes in the next few lines but before we continue it, we want to officially say,
Please accept our deep apologize for all of that “no” age, and at the same time you can keep our promise to always keep on track without complications.
Ok. Now lets start
Business Model
First, you must be already noticed the changes on the new home page before you landed here on the blog page. You probably also visually see that something changes in the platform and also the business model.
Yes, we are changing. TemplatePlazza is no longer a Joomla Template Club but it’s now a Digital Stuff Marketplace for Creative Works. So, not only to buy something in here, you also can sell your own creative products/items/service here at TemplatePlazza.
What make us different with other marketplace websites?
We don’t want to be “Yet another ThemeForest clone”. We built our own system from scratch and we proud to tell you that we have great features that will make us different compared to other marketplace website.
As a start point, we consider ourselves as the first and only marketplace website that supports subscription based item at the moment. So, if you are a GPL Developers you can sell updates, services and supports here at TemplatePlazza.
We also provide tools that make you feel comfortable selling products in here such as discussion page for each item, coupon code generator, ping – a twitter alike notification system, team member assigning etc.

New Management
TemplatePlazza is now handled by Plazzoic, the new startup that is founded to bring back the TemplatePlazza to the track and to make other great internet things. We are working from a new small office in Jakarta City, Indonesia, with new team and new spirit.
What Would Happen with the Active Club Members?
Existing club members will still be able to access the club website at http://club.templateplazza.com, but we are no longer accept new club member registration.
Every new joomla template that is published by us in the marketplace website (under user Plazzoic), will also be published in the club website. Club member will continue able to use the new templates based on their existing subscription terms.
The new Marketplace terms will affect to user who buy the template from the marketplace only.
We will keep posting the new templates to the club website until the number of templates that we owe you is reached (about 12-15 templates), then we will completely close the club website.
If you’re an active member or if you feel that you deserve to get a compensation for your last membership which is already expired, feel free to email us with your username and 2CO order number attached so we can extend your membership at the club.
Or alternatively, we can convert your remaining/existing membership periods into a balance points so you can buy items at the MarketPlace.
You can use the converted balance points to buy any item at the marketplace (not limited to template only) that is published by user Plazzoic (us)

Question : whatever I clic on, wp themes, plugins, joomla, services, the recurrent message is “soory, … at the moment”. Moreover, some pages don’t display such as the contact page. An issue ?

some pages yes there are still no items for those categories so that “sorry there’s no item at the moment” text is shows up.
Regarding the contact page, do you mean in this page http://templateplazza.com/contacts? is the form shows up in there from your side or that’s just a blank page?

Intresting consept that is coming, what also is intresting is that i have waited for Andy to get back to me for over two months now. Since it seems that the Plazzoic team is Andy and the other moderators from Templateplazza. What makes it really intresting is that he didnt ask me about beeing part of it since he “tought” i wasnt intersted.

Thanks for your interest but we apologize that we’re no longer opening a membership registration to download our templates.
And just for your information regarding this video plazza, we built this ‘video niche’ template especially to be used in conjunction with Seyret component and as you can see their site even have been hacked (not sure if that happen recently or been a while left unfixed). So we are or will no longer support this component to be used in the template and for that we don’t want you to have an unsupported 3rd party extensions if you want to build a video site using this template.

Thank you for speed answer. I knew that Seyret is closed but I would like use only this template to another video component – HWDvideoshare. I like this template and i think that it will fit with HWDvideoshare. I hope that it is possible to get this template or it not possible that I bear with it.

for me, the changes do not “feel good”.
The new concept might be good, it is possible that the products will get better and some people may prefer this version instead of “another template-club”. But in fact, templateplazza WAS a Template-Club, and you still have old memberships running.
By moving the original template-club, where I bought a membership for, to a subfolder, you are limiting it. By anouncing to close the whole site after a while there is no future for using any of the “old templates”. It makes no sense to start a new project with a template theat will have no updates and no developement.
In addition to that, there are lots of issues in the present templates, and the place where I saw some solutions is the forum. So by shutting down the old site, you will also shut down the onliest place that offered a little bit support in the last months.
I totally respect if you want to change your business-modell, but by changing the concept, changing the products, changing the design, changing everything, you should also change the name and the domain. It is a total different product, so why do you want to keep the “old” roots, that you just anounced to shut down after a while?
I would AT LEAST suggest the following:
- Let the “old” site online at least until the memberships run (you already said you are doing it)
- Keep the support for the old templates active (there are too many issues in the templates, and it is a paied membership)
- When the “time is over”, transfer all present templates to GPL and open the forum for public. This keeps some kind of “free support” online, this gives the “old stuff” like a new home, not a big one, but a fair one.

Wanted to share my view after a few days since the new templateplazza has been launched.
I’m very surprised, not to write disappointed, for the website looks like an empty shop. Imagine that your favourite real shop was closed for almost one year and finally the owner announces a new fantastic website that would go over any dream… You would wait and in the end the shop is fancy, the owner is confident but the shop is desperately empty…
Suggestion : don’t wait for all the techies as most of them are on Themeforest. Why wouldn’t you start and fill up with your own stuff like wordpress themes ? You were one of the first marketplace to innovate in the old days…
You don’t need 5,000 themes to run a profitable business. Look at yootheme, they publish once a week. As I write it on different marketplaces, the only thing we miss today as buyers is a model with seldom themes such as :
- real estate classified (but a true one, not a so-called one with so few research options that it is useless for buyers)
- the same for cars dealers
- coupons (like the one on appthemes but with the option to invoice coupons publishing)
- e-shops with great design running with Jigoshop (there’s so much to be done with it)
- and so on…
You should focus on wordpress and provide customization services for non-techies buyers.
