WhatsApp Multi-Agent Module Now Supports Joomla 5

We are excited to announce the release of an update for the WhatsApp Multi-Agent Module for Joomla, version 1.6.0. This module is the second extension from us to provide support for Joomla 5 without the need for a backward compatibility plugin (the first one is Xtypo/Xtypo Pro). As a result, the WhatsApp Multi-Agent Module now supports three Joomla versions: Joomla 3, 4, and the latest Joomla 5.

One significant change is the improved support for PHP 8 (for Joomla 4 and 5). Additionally, in this latest version, we have successfully converted all jQuery dependencies to vanilla JavaScript. This means that if your template doesn't include jQuery, you no longer need to manually add jQuery library calls, as all JavaScript code now adheres to standard JavaScript, making it compatible with all templates. This change is expected to not only simplify the codebase but also potentially enhance the module's performance.
