Need Advice on Finding the Best Joomla Templates for My Website!!
- Posted by Marcelo Salas (1) Offline
Hi everyone,
I am in the process of building a Joomla based website and stumbled upon TemplatePlazza while researching high quality templates. The site looks impressive but I am a bit overwhelmed by the variety of options.
Could anyone share their recommendations for beginner friendly yet professional Joomla templates available here: ?? I am specifically looking for templates suited for a business portfolio., with a responsive design and customizable features. Are there any standout options you would suggest for someone who doesn’t have much coding experience: ??
Also, how is the support system on TemplatePlazza: ?? If I run into issues during customization,,, can I expect timely assistance: ??
Lastly,,, any tips on maximizing the value of these templates: ?? For example.., should I invest in premium features or are the free templates good enough for a polished website: ??
I have also gone through this thread forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=959866 rpa but could not find anything. Looking forward to your expert advice.
Thanks in advance !!

Hi Marcelo, it's great to hear that you've decided to use Joomla for your website. I assume you're new to Joomla, so I'll respond from a beginner's perspective.
If you're a beginner, I think Joomla's default template, *Cassiopeia*, is sufficient for your learning purposes. Cassiopeia comes with the latest web standards, such as responsive design and more. It also easy to use. You may find many template providers out there offering a variety of cool templates. However, each template provider usually has its own template framework. While these frameworks do make it easier to build websites, from a coding perspective, they often deviate from Joomla's standard code by adding extra layers of custom code.
As for TemplatePlazza, to be honest, we haven't updated our template section in quite some time. We're more focused on developing modules and plugins, which you can find at templateplazza.com/joomla-extensions. Some of our templates available in the template section templateplazza.com/joomla-templates are designed for Joomla 3, so they might no longer be compatible with the latest version of Joomla. However, they are all free, so feel free to download them.
In the near future, we plan to develop a lightweight multipurpose template that uses Joomla's standard code, but unfortunately, there is no ETA at the moment.
Regarding support, we usually provide assistance through this forum and also via email if possible. We usually respond to support requests within a few hours. As you can see, there are no unanswered questions here.
Cheers,
Andy
