Wondering how your modules will work with Single image ads?

I am mostly interested in trying your Responsive Banner Slider to solve a problem where the Joomla Banner ads are not responsive and so are not resizing on mobile devices. And, I like the way your ads look and how it seems you solve the problem of responsive ads. However, I will probably be mostly wanting to use single image ads instead of slideshows. Will your product work well if I am not using Slideshows as ads?

I was going through your forums and found one place where it almost indicated that would be problematic.

Thank you for your response,

Hi Sean, The module is intended for slideshow purpose. For one static image banner I don't think you will need any additional module, just to make it responsive.

Thank you very much for the reply. Your tool looks great for creating nice slideshow ads and I might get it for that purpose although I would only want to have one slideshow ad on any one page while I would also like to have more than one ad per page. I will keep experimenting but as far as I can tell the Joomla Banner Component is NOT responsive. I have done a few experiments with no success. If I make an add small like say maybe 256 wide by 120 tall then they will nicely fill a small space allotted on a desktop but they won't look good on a mobile device.

If I make the image twice the size then they can look good on the mobile device but they 'fill' the container to fill the height and the width but will fill the height or width too much and stretch the proportions of the ad.

I use the ZenTools by JoomlaBamboo which can read Joomla Banners as a content source and also take a user to the correct URLs but it completely bypasses the Joomla Banner Component tracking system. So, that is a big downside even though it can beautifully make the Joomla banner ads responsive.

So, somebody really should try to solve this puzzle. It seems like your application could easily do this and then people would have the options of creating slideshow or single image ads

Thank you again for your prompt reply. I am impressed.

Are you using a responsive ready template? This should have been handled from template side unless you use an old template with no responsive support.
Anyway, could you let me know your website url?

Thank you again for your reply. The site that I am developing on now is a temporary site where I am working on a redesign.
It is located at drcarney.cloudaccess.host

You wil see I have some ads being delivered by the banner componennt at the top and then I have an 'ad' in the middle which is being created by ZenTools2 puling the content from the Joomla banner component.

The one from ZenTools2 is responsive. The ones from the banner component are not. The template which is from JoomlaBamboo is responsive already.

I would be happy to give you backend super admin access if you had an interest in taking a closer look. Thank you SO MUCH for your interest in checking this out.
