Fonticons Plugin with JCE Editor on J3.0.2 - not working?!

Hi,

I have just installed FONTICONS on a joomla 3.0.2 instance. I am using JCE Editor. The Button for inserting Icons is shown when editing, and also the table with all the icons pops up. However, when klicking on a single icon for selection nothing happens, and the icon is not inserted.......

Note: I put the editor.css file into the template css folder. I have also inserted the i[class|style] tag into the tinyMCE plugin settings (not knowing if this necessary when using JCE editor).

Any comments/help/support is highly appreciated.

p.s.: I have a similar problem with xtypo. Here, there is no BUTTON plugin, only a content plugin listed in plugin section. Hence, no XTYPO button is visible under editing area........

@ralphnohe so sorry but this plugin is only works on TinyMCE editor at the moment.
Regarding the xtypo button, have you install both the xtypo button plugin beside xtypo plugin there?

Hi ralph, Xtypo button should be working properly witj JCE. Have you followed the instructions in the documentation file?

thank you for your replies. Browser cache has been cleared. I also inserted the parameters into TinyMCE / JCE plugin as follows: i[class|style],span[class]
Finally, I put the (combined) editor.css files into my default CSS directory of both frontend and backend template.............

The (updated) Status is: Both buttons show up in TinyMCE as well as in JCE now.

1) XTypo Button in TinyMCE / JCE:
When using the button, inserting styles is working. BUT: styles are only visible in frontend article, however, in backend (editor) WYSIWYG is not working (the xtypo formatting is not visible in backend editor).

2) Fonticons:
Button is shown in TinyMCE, but when clicking on an icon, this icon is not inserted, and hence, not visible in the article (frontend).

Any Ideas?
