Latesnews + email-address is protected by spambots

Hi

We are using Latesnews + and noticed that if we put an Email-Address in the joomla article and the address is shown on the home page, the following message is displayed instead of the Email-Address:

This E-Mail-Address is protected by spambots! To show it JavaScript.....

In the full view of the article, the Address is shown completely normal.

Is this issue known?

That's cause of the default joomla email-cloacking plugin. You can disable it from plugin manager, find the Email Cloaking Plugin.

If you still need an email cloacking plugin I'd suggest you to try NoNumbers Email Protector plugin as replacement
