mini front page is not showing thumbnails

Hello!
Mini front page is not showing thumbnails. I'm designing a new website and I'm using Mini Front Page 2.2.0 on joomla 2.5.8 .
The image in the article is coming from another website.
Is there not any way of displaying a default thumbnail if there is no image in the article?

The trouble is

The image in the article is coming from other website.


This module is able to generate thumbnail if the image in the article is coming from the the directory or subfolder in root/images/
