In minifrontpage thumbnails are not generating

I am not getting thumbnails to generate. The first article did, but the other 3 I tested did not. I have looked around on your forum and have seen this issue asked alot, but have not seen a solution? Is there one? or should I move on?

ok...i seem to have figured it out, not a correction but a work-a-round. Your system doesn't update articles after save the first time. If I put in just text and "save" the article to see how the text lays out in real time the system generates a default image as there was none added, then if I reopen the article to make changes to the text or now add the image it will not show in the live version as the system already added the default image to the thumbnail folder in Media. The only way it will add the new image is if I manually delete the default image that was generated the first time I clicked "save" on that article. This is fine if I as the sole admin on the site and know of this and can correct it as needed. The issue for me is this site, when completed will be handed off to the folks who commissioned it's build who are not tech savvy and will not like this bug.

Hi, it's not a bug, it's the way the module works.
Generating thumbnail's process consumes a quite a lot of server resources, that's why we use it carefully. We make the module generate thumbnail only once to avoid unnecessary resource consumptions, to make the module running fast and efficient.
Indeed the thumbnail will not be updated when you update the the article's image or thumbnail size (in the module settings) but we assume this will happen often only while you're on the development phase. When the website is already live and run I think the articles won't be updated that often, right?
Even when this really happen (let say you update your article's image that often) you just need to open Media Manager from your joomla administrator page, and delete all image files located under images/thumbnails/mod_minifrontpage then the thumbnail will be regenerated.
Actually, we have mentioned about this 'deleting images' procedure in the module settings actually.
