Responsive Banner Slider 3.1.1. slide transition issues in Firefox

In Firefox the slide progression advances by collapsing the frame before displaying or while transitioning to the next slide. This is not only unattractive but also disrupts the user interaction with the page.

See the left hand column, desktop environment, news.ccansw.org.au

These screen dumps demonstrate what we're seeing in Firefox 84.0.2 (64-bit) on Linux:

Our tests confirm the problem is not present in Opera or Chrome.

Can you advise how we might overcome the issue?

Thanks

Thanks for the response.

I booted into Windows 10 (Life's too short) and can confirm that the component renders & transitions slides correctly.

So it would seem this is a firefox <> linux problem.

I was able to track this down to Advira Browser Safety in Firefox Linux 64bit.

Disabling Avira solves the issues.

Just a further update to this; the issue erupted again and a mass of related PHP exceptions alerts were being logged..

Anyway, I tracked the issue down to Slide Settings > Slider Type > Nivo Slider.

Once I changed the slider type to something else everything came good.

Cheers
