You can see how the module stretches it. Thumbnails to the right are 180x100 and i guess the module works from that image size to create the hero pic. Is there a way to set the hero image size and create the right thumbnails from that.

Ah, please try to change the retina support to Nohttps://www.dropbox.com/s%2Fqssfj54abh37u9e%2Fmonosnap%25202021-05-05%252017-03-53.png?raw=1 Because retina support actually multiplying the size of thumbnail, so when you set the thumbnail width to 100 and you have retina support set to 3x, then the actual size of generated thumbnail width is 300. And then when the size of thumbnail is bigger than the original image size, the generated thumbnail will be blurry.

Have you deleted all images on this folder ?: /images/thumbnails/mod_minifrontpagepro
You need to delete them all to tell the module to re-generate the thumbnail, when you change the thumbnail settings.

Yes alll thumbnails are deleted. It seems the problem is the hero image is enlarged from the 180x100 image instead of being reduced from the original image. Not sure if there is a quick fix for that. But the blur is a problem.

What is the size of your original image? And what size you have on your setting?
