Like Button Plugin counter problem

Today, when I like the article from my computer, the counter is 1. The next day, when I like the same article again, the counter increases again and becomes 2.
What can I do so that the same article is not liked again from the same computer?

Hi, It looks like the standard behavior of the Joomla voting function indeed like that.

It's not a problem, it's standard joomla behaviour for voting article function. There's nothing we can do about it. Maybe you can use other extension that can facilitate your need, which has its own logic and does not use Joomla's behaviour
