thumbnails in submaps and thumbnails map
- Posted by Kees van Norde (7) Offline
Hi,
Is it possible to download thumbnails in submaps per month so the folders are not to big?
As example:
2024-11
2024-12
2025-01
etc.
Another question, is it possible to choose own map for the thumbnails? As example images/minifrontpagepro/

Hi Kees,
The thumbnails in Minifrontpage are not something that needs to be kept or stored permanently on the server, as they are only accessed when Minifrontpage requires them. Typically, when new items are added, older items no longer appear in Minifrontpage, which means these thumbnails eventually just become clutter. My recommended practice is to clear the contents of the Minifrontpage Pro thumbnail folder using a cron job. Setting up a cron job indeed requires some technical knowledge, but I recently discovered a scheduled task plugin that can handle this. You can download it here: github.com/TLWebdesignNL/Auto-Delete-Fil...ask-Scheduler-Plugin
I’ll be testing it soon and plan to create a tutorial on how to set it up. If you’d like to try it out right away, feel free to do so.

As for including this feature, it is on my to-do list and will be added in a future update.Another question, is it possible to choose own map for the thumbnails? As example images/minifrontpagepro/
