Mini Fronto Page many articles
- Posted by marcos (19) Offline
Hi, I'm using the pro version of Mini Front Page, version 2.6.0. My site was very slow. So I did a clean install and migrated my articles to this new installation. Everything was fine. I migrated a few articles for testing, and everything worked fine. But when I migrated all the articles, which currently have 33,000, the site takes more than 12 seconds to load. When I disable the module, it returns to normal. I've been filtering for a month, and it hasn't fixed the problem. Is there anything I can do about this?

Hmm, interesting. From the screenshot you provided, it seems that the issue is not caused by the article/thumbnail processing, but rather by the overlay element. Could you share your URL so I can take a closer look?

I have visited your website, and it looks like everything is fine. How can I reproduce the issue?

The problem is that the home page is slow to load because of the mini front page modules. If I disable the modules, the home page opens instantly. I noticed the delay when I had more than 30,000 published articles, and after that, the module loading became slow. Didn't it take you long to load?

I’ve noticed that indeed noticiasinterativa.com.br/novo2025 loads slowly, but the main site (noticiasinterativa.com.br) is also slow on my end, so I suspect latency is because the server location.
btw, could you provide temporary administrator access to noticiasinterativa.com.br/novo2025 so I can test this directly? If possible, please email the credentials to support [at] templateplazza [dot] com. You can create a temporary admin user and remove it afterward.
