MiniFrontPage Free only works with BC plugin

Hello
I've updated Joomla to 5.4.0 a few days ago. Then, I've updated MiniFrontPage free to 5.0.1 version and I had some template overrides to correct. Then my homepage's website was broken a returns an error page (I only use it on this page). I've managed to make my website work by reactivating the Compatibility Plugin (the 5.0.0 version).
Is it normal ? Is there a problem ?
Sorry for my approximative English : I'm French and there's a long time I haven't written in English

Hi, could you please tell me what error message you received? I still can’t seem to replicate the problem. Also, could you let me know what settings you’re using?

The error message is the following : "0 Class "JHtml" not found".
The backgound is OK, a text menu is written on the head and notihing else.

Would you prefer having an acces to the Developpement version of the website ? I think this will be easier

Hi Coincoin, which version of MiniFrontpage do you have installed? JHtml is no longer used in the new version.There are two files included in the downloaded package: mod_minifrontpage_j3_legacy.zip and mod_minifrontpage.zip. You installed mod_minifrontpage.zip, right?

But there’s no 'JHtml' code in the MiniFrontpage module itself, maybe you have an active template override?
