AI Chatbot pre sales questions

Hi, i have a few questions about the plugin:
  1. Can user questions be viewed in the backend so I can expand the knowledge base based on real user inquiries?
  2. Is it possible to limit the number of questions per user and display a custom message or purchase link after a certain number of interactions?
  3. Does the chatbot generate its answers from Joomla articles, or can the content also be managed directly within the chatbot component?
  4. Is the plugin compatible with the UIkit framework and YOOtheme Pro?

Hi Robert,

Can user questions be viewed in the backend so I can expand the knowledge base based on real user inquiries?

Yes, exactly. And yes, you can improve the knowledge base based on that

Is it possible to limit the number of questions per user and display a custom message or purchase link after a certain number of interactions?

There is no specific feature for this, but you can try instructing the AI to handle it through the system prompt

Does the chatbot generate its answers from Joomla articles, or can the content also be managed directly within the chatbot component?

Both are supported: Joomla articles and a built-in product catalog. You can store more stable knowledge in Joomla articles, and manage more dynamic data (such as stock and pricing) in the catalog.

Is the plugin compatible with the UIkit framework and YOOtheme Pro?

As long as the framework supports running Joomla components and modules, it should not cause any issues

Hi,
I really like the plugin — it works great, even with YOOtheme Pro :)
I have one suggestion: the backend already makes it easy to review the questions users have asked, which is very useful. It would be even better if the component could mark the questions for which no answer was found. That way, it would be much easier to identify missing content and improve the knowledge base.

Hi Robert, yes, that’s exactly what we’re planning to update. It’s already on our to-do list, so please stay tuned

One more feature request for a future update: I am using the chatbot on a bilingual website, and while all language files can be translated, the text in
privacy.txt
cannot currently be localized. It would be great if you could make this multilingual as well, so the privacy text can be displayed in the correct language on multilingual websites.
