Re: Carousel Banner

Hi there

Im just checking out your carousel banner module which you can see I have working on my domain and is perfect for what I need :)

My problem is that I am currently using a static banner on the bottom of the page and was trying to get a copy of the carousel working in that position. However, when I drop a Carousel banner in there it negates the top banner and nothing appears in the bottom position except the Carousel banner name :(

is this normal??

I am wondering if you can tell me what I am doing wrong or if you can only have one module per page or something...

Thanks in advance for your help and thanks for a great and easy to use module

HEllo
it looks like a jquery issue there
Can you 1st enable jQuery library load from the top Carousel banner then de-activate jQuery load from the mod_jomdirectory_items module, then disable jquery library from the bottom of carousel banner?
and see if that helps....

Thanks for the swift reply, I understand everything you've said except this bit:

'de-activate jQuery load from the mod_jomdirectory_items module'

Would you be able to tell me exactly where and how to do this, as im sure it would have to be a coded command somewhere and I haven't the foggiest sorry :(

Many Thanks

Hi

If you got to Module Manager->mod_jomdirectory_items please find if there's an option to activate/deactivate jQuery library from it's module parmater.

If there's no option for that on that module then we suggest you to contact the module developer to provide that option and explain to them that there might be an issue with other extension if there's no option to activate/deactivate jQuery library.

Yes you are correct, there is no option within that particular module to activate Jquery..

...In fact when I completely disable the jomdirectory module (directory latest) your carousel banner on the top of the page also stops working....

even when i turn on the jquery within your module :(
