Background image not showing

This is probably so simple that I'm missing it. LaunchTime page. I have a background image I'd like to show. The image is loaded, but it's being blocked by the background color. How do I make the background transparent?

I originally tried working with it on my localhost, and that's where I was having problems. I decided to try it live and that's where the template worked. I was also surprised to find out the count down clock actually moved...lol. It wasn't working on my localhost either. Thank You once again
