xtypo button with joomla 2.5.11 & JCE Editor not showing.
- Posted by Peter Barfield (4) Offline
I have just purchased xtypo button I have read doc and followed instructions that came with it but i can't get it to "work" with JCE editor. The results don't show in the editor. you have to go to frontend to see the results which sort of defeats the purpose of a wysiwyg editor. Any ideas? I have this on an xampp installation for deveolpment.
regards

Thanks for the reply. As i stated in my initial post I followed the instructions that came made the changes to the JCE component as described. Maybe i wam not clear on what i am trying to say but what is missing is the syntax doesn't show in the editor so you dont know whether it has been inserted or not until you look at the site. Strange though that the free version syntax is there although that is obviuosly because you type that in.

Um, it is hard for us to track the problem because you're still on localhost and honestly I still don't really get what exactly the problem is. But maybe you can try one of these checklists first :
1. make sure you have added the span[class] in the Extended Element tab
2. make sure you have added editor.css to your deault template
3. Once you have added editors css, make sure you have hard-refreshed your browser (several times if necessary), especially if you use Chrome browser.

Hello
can you post your site credential to the "Site Details" tab below so we can take a look at it?
