Mini FrontPage URLs

Hi. I really like this module but there is one problem that I have.
When I view the display of articles and I click on a particular article, the URL is very messy... it is along the lines of: "/resources/news/34-resources/news/news-articles/54-article-name"
Is there any way that the URL could be simplified, for example to "/article-name"?
Secondly, but not as importantly, can the module be set to be more responsive? For example, if I want to display 3 columns of articles and then only display 1 or 2 when the browser window size is reduced or the website is viewed on a mobile browser... is there any way to do this?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Minifp doesn't 100% support responsive yet, but if you know CSS you can play with the mediaqueries for minifp cssSecondly, but not as importantly, can the module be set to be more responsive?
