Mini K2 - Thumbnail Proximity - on the iPad
- Posted by Martin Evans (3) Offline
Mini k2 is a great product. however, when viewing a page using Thumbnail Proximity on an iPad I notice that the pop-up description box appears off screen to the right.
Is there any way to set which side of the image, left or right, that the description appears with the mouse over action?
Have a look at www.welshpoolairport.co.uk for instance, or current work in progress www.serendipedd.co.uk
Thanks in anticipation.

Hello Martin
First off all we're glad you like it but unfortunately this MiniK2 still doesn't has responsive feature, especialy for the Thumbnail Proximity layout. Also with it's hover nature, this thumb proximity feature is not suit for mobile devices as we can't hovering images on mobile device, right?

Many thanks for your quick reply.
Is there any way then within the css that I could hack which side of the image the text appears? touching the image on an ipad acts rather like (but not quite) the mouse hover on a normal pc.
Thanks
Martin

I'm afraid that's not related with the css as the hovered text position is automatically adjusted based on the relative position of the image whether they are near the left or right edge browser window. it;s under the javascript, not css.

Thank you very much for answering my question so promptly. At least now I know.
