How to Make Carousel Banner work
- Posted by alokk2700 (3) Offline
Hi
Need some help in getting the Carousel banner to work. Need it on the home page of the site. I have done the following
1. Setup the banner in the banner manager (where I select the single image file, since there is no choice to select multiple files)
2. Set up the Carousel in module banner and select home from the menu assignment & home from category.
I assumed that the Carousel will pick up the banners from the 'Banners' folder, however it is not working. Please let me know in which step I am going wrong.

From what I can see it looks like you only have one banner item for that category, isn't that right?
Carousel Banner needs at least 2 banner items to make it 'looks' work.
So can you create another banner item for that category? and see if that works.
Also I see that your template call jQuery library, can you de-activate it? cause carousel banner already loaded it and at the highest level in the header section.

I will have to check if I can de-activate it. However if I add more banners to the category then this is the thing that gets displayed.

Yes that could be caused by the jQuery library been loaded from the template...try de-activate it and see if that works.
