PopLogin - No registration button or link help required please?
- Posted by Robert Stones (5) Offline
Hi All,
New here since finding this extension. I have enabled the PopLogin module and tweaked the additional settings allowed in the modules back-end, however when you click the 'Login' button that this extension has created, currently at the top left of my site... there doesn't appear to be any 'Register' link or additional button and I need to be able to get people registering, as well as logging in with present / past account of which is working fine?
Also, when I click in to the username or password fields in the pop up login box, the cursor is placed at the very end of the text username or password and doesn't get rid of the words username or password, which I would think should happen or it could confuse users etc?
Lastly, the white 'login' box doesn't show up in the latest Firefox but when you hover your mouse over the top left side of the site, you locate it blindly but then as you hover over it, it shows up and appears.
Please note, I am running Joomla 3.1.5 and my site is at: www.swswsws.co.uk
I really look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Rob

It looks fine at my end. I'm seeing it using the latest Firefox browser.
What browser that you use?

Thanks for the reply, it's much appreciated.
You're seeing what exactly erwin? As there's a few issues linked to the pop login I've just implemented, so not sure which of my questions above you're seeing as fine?
I am using Chrome but also checked FF as in the message above.

I'm seeing that all are normal for this module using Firefox 24.0. I don't see 2 problems you mentioned above (the 1st and the 3rd ones).
Regarding the cursor at the field text that is at the end of the username and password text yes that's how it's coded/designed as you also see in our poplogin demo page.
What about poplogin on our demo page when you see it using Chrome? is the same thing happen?

The following is your Poplogin demo in chrome;
sign_in_demo
Then in Chrome the following is our version;
our_sign_in
So mine is not showing the green register button in the bottom left hand side but I don't know why?
I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Have you set Allow User Registration in your site?
Please check at your User Manager->Options->Allow Users Registration
