Responsive banner not working in adaptive banner mode

Hi there,

I have been using responsive banner on my website, but it suddenly stopped working in the adaptive banner mode. I haven't changed any of the setting, but all the galleries I have set up have stopped working in that mode, they still work in other modes.

See here championupnorth.com/music/mdnght-records
and here championupnorth.com/music/vitaltechniques

Any ideas why this might be?

I have also tested the demo of the module in IE10 and it doesn't work properly with the adaptive mode OR the Slider Style 1 or Slider Style 2. The Nivo styles are the only ones that seem to work in IE10. Can any of the developers give us word on when this will be fixed? I have not purchased the module yet...I am waiting on the IE10 fix. :(

Thanks,
BMOXA

Hi Immi

You said it suddenly stopped working. Do you remember installing any extension before the responsivebannerslider stop working?

Immi,

I have explored your website. From the looks of it, it looks like something is breaking the script. It doesn't look like the script "modules/mod_responsivebannerslider/assets/adaptor/box-slider-all.jquery.min.js" is loading on your website. Usually (at least in my experience) that is due to another script that is conficting and not allowing your script to run. However, that's about all I can tell you since I haven't purchased/installed this module myself because of the IE10 issue. GOOD LUCK...think I'm going to give up on this module and move on to one that actually works in all the browsers. ;)

It does not work because you don't load the jquery module. Maybe its already loaded by another module. Check your source file for this. I had this problem, but it was the "prettyphoto" plugin who interfered. I turned off "Add jQuery no Conflict", and now it works. It uses the jquery of the "prettyphoto" plugin also for the responsive banner.

good luck.
