When on my site, the module shows this:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$image in /var/www/sitehere/modules/mod_latestnewsplusdate/tmpl/default.php on line 102 Text of the article is here

This only happens when intro text is turned on (the error message appears before the article text)

No. I have displaying image turned off as well.

Ok so your module configuration is like this

Show Introtext = Yes
Show Thumbnail = No

if that so and error shown up, can you overwrite this file

/modules/mod_latestnewsplusdate/tmpl/default.php

with the one attached (please unzip it first)
