Just trying to make M2P work on a pretty basic site and I just cannot work out why it's not behaving, could you take a look for me? URL is in the field below. Thanks

Hi nick,
I found several javascript errors in the browser console when visiting your website (see attachment).
Can you check what makes those errors?

Thanks,
I've cleared those out now.

On further examination, it seems M2P doesn't like pages with email addresses cloaked using JS?!? The cloaking is Joomla's default, no third-party plugins or script.

nickwilmot.co.uk.87-76-31-227.azaadi.co.uk - loads ok now I've disabled the contact details module.

nickwilmot.co.uk.87-76-31-227.azaadi.co.uk/contact.html - which still has an email address present on the page doesn't load correctly

Hmm strange,
I re-tested it on my localhost using Joomla 3.1.5 and everything goes fine. I tried to put email address with mailto link in both of content and cistom module and they are working fine on both of positions.
Please have a look on this screencast : d.pr/v/kb9T

Can you try to switch the template to prototype, to check whether this is a template problem or something else.
Also can you try to ad a new menu with with only module with email address + m2p published ?

Hmmm, how odd. Thanks for the fast reply and thanks for the video - it's certainly the same scenario.

Same behaviour on Protostar. No email address; everything is fine, with an email address, page won't load. I have left it set to Protostar.

I've also tried it on a page with not modules containing or using any JS. Same.

I see another user had a similar problem with email address? Did they every resolve it?

Do you have a clone installation of the website on your localhost?
Can you check it whether it doesn't work on your localhost too or not?

By the way, you can temporarily disabling the cloak plugin from the module backend parameter by changing the Prepare Content option to = No
