Latest News + Date Thumbnail not showing and article too

My problem is the following: I download this module and install it in local server but I don't see anything in the frontend of my website. I only see the default picture of the module
Please find in attachment a file which contains the parameters which I have used to set up this module.

I'm having the same issue here:

The default thumbnail images load fine, but when I upload an image to an article (images and links: Intro Image) - then the image files do not load.
Using firebug I see this error in the page script:

can you add article images with bigger dimension? then see the result.

Me I don't have error in Firebug, and my image don't load, and it's te same for the content of my article
