Responsive Banner Slider with Bootstrap 3
- Posted by Leila Hodgkins (7) Offline
Hi there,
I wondered if anyone can help me... I have been trying to create a Joomla site using Bootstrap v3 to make it responsive. I also want to use your Responsive Banner Slider extension (which I have used several times before), however, I just can't get it to work on this site:

You will see that the banner is loading but I suppose there is a jquery conflict or something - I'm afraid I'm no expert! I have tried setting the banner to not load jquery, to load it from Google and to load it from the plugin but none of the options seems to work.
Before I dismantle my site and make it a different way, do you have any ideas that I could try?
Many thanks

Hello
First can you try to de-activate jQuery library loaded from your footer section (just before the closing body tag - I believe that coming from your template?) and keep it that way so I can take a look?

The banner is working now but, of course, now my bootstrap will not function properly.

Thanks for looking at the problem. I couldn't find any information about what version of jquery Bootstrap needs or whether it can be changed. So, I have started to rebuild my site using a responsive template which does work with your banner plugin.
Many thanks for your time and I do appreciate your help.
