XTypo buttons problems?

For some reason buttons are not working, applying button style 1, 2 or 3 causes the selected text to appear on its own line with no affect.

For button, please make sure you apply the xtypo style to an hyperlink. Please check the page you provide, I have made some changes

Using WYSIWYG editor view, how does one place the button in the middle of the same line? The button seems to want to go to a separate line.

Hi, it doesn't designed to work like that as we assumed the button style probably wont match the current paragraf. But as it's all using css you can make it work by adding some manual css addition in the style css or inline css.
I have made changes to your webpage. Please have alook on it and toggle the editor to see what changes I added (I added inline css style="float:left" to both of <p> and <a> tags )
