Related Items Extended - restrict articles to show

Hi,
I´m using "Related Items Extended" but i miss a way to restrict some articles to show.
Are you planning on having more option to control articles to show like, restrict articles ID or category.

I´m using Related Items Extended as menu.
In a top menu, i have a single article (let´s call him menu_article) tagged "tag_A", so when it is clicked “Related Items Extended “ shows all articles "tag_A". But if user clicks on an article showed by “Related Items Extended “ module, then all articles "tag_A" will be shown including "menu_article". This one i wanted not to be showed.
That is, “menu_article” would be accessible only by the top menu not by “Related Items Extended” module.
Perhaps I was little confusing… in this explanation.
But if somehow we could restrict article id, category id or even tags it would give the module another flexibility.
Another, I think, interesting feature, would be to set tags to be showed regardless the article is being seen.
