Hi, It's not coming from minik2 module. I think it's coming from K2 component itself. As I asked bfore, can you share your website URL ?

Hi admin, I don't think it's a K2 issue as it only happen after I publish your module. Please take a look www.fundedflow.com

Apreaciate your help to disable miniK2 image popping up whin click your module to visit an item.

If you go from the news tab on menu to view any news articles you see NO images pop up. Only if clicking through from your module.

Thanks and waiting for your kind response.

Hi, I have take alook at your website.
Please have alook on this screenshot :
www.dropbox.com/s/xkefpvd90ga7qfa/9u1hk.jpg , there is no minik2 code in that part. Also, there is no minik2 module published on that page. So that's why I believe this is not something related to minik2.
To make it sure, can you try to unpublish the module and let me know so I can check it?

I found a way to hack it.

Step 1. a) went into K2 settings and selected categories from the K2 menu.
b) then select your top level catagory and click into it

Step 2. a) look at the menu on the right hand side (i am on Joomla 3.x) and then click the "item Image Options tab"
b) Now set the size settings all to zero "0"
c) Save and close

Step 3. Refresh your home page and take a look at your items (article) page. the floating modal/duplicated image should now be gone and you should only have a small grey outline box.

Its not perfect but it will have to do for now until I can find a better solution.

I have attached screen shot walk-through guide. Strange thing is that the problem only started after I installed the Minik2... go figure..
