Latest news + date - thumbnail query

Hi guys
I'm just a shade confused on how to get thumbnails to show in the LND output? Does the module create them from images within the article, or do you have to put your own thumbnail somewhere in the article for the module to use?

Site using the module is at: www.kitsandcards.co.uk/

Thanks
TKR

Hi TKR99,
Yes the module will generate thumbnails from images within the article.

Hmm - well I've a problem then as it's not doing that with any articles I've presented with it so far - all I've ever gotten is the thumbnail holder image. Do the article images have to be a particular size or are there any other parameters required?

How did you add the image? Did you upload it from the backend or something else?

Article image would have been loaded from the image directory via Image Manager (think its a JCE editor one) selecting the folder & image & adding it in that way. Unsure if I had the image already uploaded to the site prior or whether it was uploaded through the IM at the point of adding (if that makes sense?).

Just noticed that the thumbnail icon correctly links to the article which includes the image - something at least :)

How did you add image on this article :
www.kitsandcards.co.uk/index.php/pass-it-on-cards
The image path is not under the 'images' folder but under the 'cache' folder and also, its filename like something that is generated by other process (extensions, modules, or plugin)
