Latest News Extended - Open article in catergory specific page

Hi

I have 3 basic pages on my site from the top menu; home, news & jobs (ignore others)

On the home page i have the latest new extended module. When you click on an article it opens that article on the same page (home.) What i want is to open the article on a different page, ie a news article on the news page

On the home page below the news extended i have 2 minifront, one for news the other jobs, i intend to replace these with latest news extended but for now ive done a messy hack on the minifront helper.php to open the articles on the news page. i say messy because the job articles open on the news page as well because they are both using the same minifront helper.php

Any help would be much appreciated

This is a default item id behaviour of Joomla. To solve this you just need to create hidden menus of all of your article categories
