Mini Frontpage tutorial

Hi,
I've just downloaded and installed the Mini Frontpage module on my website, but found out that the link to tutorial page is not working... Is there any way to get access to the tutorial? I have no clue how to make use of the module ...

Many thanks,
polina

Hi Polina, When you place your mouse over the backend parameter title there will be a description popped up. Also I don't thing that hard to understand how minifrontpage works, can you tell me what part of minifp you didn't understand?

Hi,
Thank you very much for your response. You are right, it was relatively straightforward to figure out how minifrontpage works, but I still have two questions... One of them was raised before on this forum, namely, how to choose a redirect page for each article, since by default, Joomla redirects the article on the same very page where the minifrontpage module is assigned to. I tried to change categories, as you suggested, but the result was the same, maybe I didn't understand correctly... Another issue is a permanent error message above the module: Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 86 in C:\xampp\htdocs\quill\modules\mod_minifrontpage\helper.php on line 464. Sorry for so many questions. Minifrontpage has a very elegant and stylish design; I really like it and hope these problems can be resolved with your kind help.
Thank you,
polina

This is a known joomla behaviour. A workarround this is to create a hidden article category menu for each of your joomla content category

Can you share your website URL so I can take a look?

Yes, it worked! Thanks a lot for clarifying it to me!

The website is currently on a localhost... If the problem is still there after the transfer to a server, I will come back for help..
Thank you!
