Related Articles XTD washed out thumbnails
- Posted by Mattia (3) Offline
Hi,
I've just purchased Related Articles XTD and I'm testing it on a local copy of my site (so I cannot provide you a link at the moment).
I see that when it creates thumbnails it "washes out" the image (the thumbnails has a very high luminance compared to the original image - see attachments). Is some filter applied to the thumbnails? How can I disable this?
Thank you.

Hi saldsi, sorry for delay in responding due to weekend offline.
Regrading your problem may I know your module parameter settings? I've tested at my end using your image and it worked fine. Here's the screenshot goo.gl/0Uaa0a

Hi,
I tried to reinstall the module and to use default parameters, but I have the same problem.
Maybe it is related to different php version? On my local PC I'm using php 5.5.10...

Hi saldsi,
Ah yes it's probably because of PHP version under 5.5.11 that has a known bug with imageconvolution function (that is used by related xtd mod) : bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=66714
Can you try to update your php version to 5.5.11?
Or, maybe using the 5.4 version for now as 5.5 is not widely used yet.
