How to make Xtypo button visible in JCE editor

Just installed Xtypo + themes but can't see it in the JCE editor. How do I make the Xtypo button visible.
I've read all other posts and followed installation instructions but there's nothing for JCE. Having paid for the plug in I expected it to work. I'm using Joomla 3.2 with Protostar template.

Hi, Can you try to remove the span[class] from Extended Elements field and let me know whether this is works or not? Adding span[class] to Extended Elements field seems no longer needed for JCE.

JCE seems to have no extended elements field. There seems to be no place to add span[class]

Umm, have you followed the instruction on documentation.pdf first ? (you will see the file after extracting the installation file package) There's an instruction about adding JCE integration in there.
