MiniFrontpage - How To Setup longer Introtext

Hi,
Id like to setup a longer introtext.
There is no option to increase the introtext char count in the main options of the module.

so which file do i have to fix to get this thing started?

The option is should be there. The field title is Limit Introtext you can fill it with number of characters you prefer.

but yet another question regarding the thumbnail view:

especially when background color of container is disables,
and the thumbnail is active
it doesnt look pretty nice , cause it breaks out of line

is there an option to generate the thumbnails in the style ive attached?
