How to make Xtypo button work with JCK (JoomlaCK) editor
- Posted by SupperPupper (3) Offline
Dear Sir, I had installed Xtypo on JCK editor 6.5.8. I can see button and can press on it. After that I can see popup window with Xtypo. But there is no action and even response after pressing on any option in the popup window of Xtypo.
Only manual tagging is working in JCK editor.
There is another thread in your forum regarding this question dated 2013, but it is locked and I couldn't post there. It seems nothing was made regarding correcting the plugin since that time. Could you correct Xtypo plugin that is work with JCK?

Hi SupperPupper,
Can you tell me, did you follow the instruction in the documentation file?

Thank you for reply. Yes, I made all that was described for tinyMCE and JCE except adding to extended elements span[class] as there is no similar place like Extended Valid Elements in JCK.
In JCE and tinyMCE the plugin is working fine, but in JCK there is no field to put span[class]. Can it be done by other way by direct correcting Xtypo files or JCK files as temporary solution?

Hi SupperPupper,
Yes, unfortunately there is still no support for JCK as we're still unable to find a way to implement it.
I've made some tests with no luck. It's not easy as it looks to implement it. Sorry about that
