error messages once plugin installed

I purchased Xtypo. I followed the instructions and once I install it the following message appears at the top of all article pages:

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /home/a00000ar/public_html/plugins/content/xtypo/xtypo.php on line 27

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /home/a00000ar/public_html/plugins/content/xtypo/xtypo.php on line 33

the only way I can remove it is to uninstall the plug in which is obviously not what I want to do. Does anyone know what I need to do to remove these messages?

Also what Joomla version do you use? Does the error happen in your frontend or backend?

Thank for your response. I uninstalled the package and 2 plugins and reinstalled using the extension manager.

i am using Joomla version 3

the domain name is royalorchsoc.joomlawired.com.

So, I was previously able to see the button in the editor and selected the style and it was only when i previewed in the front-end that I saw the 2 error messages. Now that I have installed the latest version of the plugin, the button no longer appears and neither do the error messages. (see attachment).

click on the domain name and then login, which is a link in the footer.

please let me know how you get on. i am due to give a preview of the site on Monday.

thanks

Ben
