email address problem

Every time I test an order I get the following message

Thank you for your order!
Payment method Bank depositPay directly to the bank
Bank account no:Please state your invoice no and name.
Order Number 3cf006
Amount 9,00 €


and on top You must provide at least one recipient email address.
and there is no email confirmation to the customer sent anymore

Is the item you buy is the dummy item that comes with the quickstart package or a new one you have creted?

Note for anyone that has the same problem

thanks a lot I have changed the virtuemart vendor id to 1
Use phpMyAdmin - in the table xxxx_virtuemart_products (where xxxx is your db prefix) set the values for virtuemart_vendor_id to 1 (or whatever your main vendor ID is set to)
