Related item extension: recall a category other than article

I've purchased this module and it seems to work properly using meta keywords (i use joomla 2.5.6) but won't work with categories. i've placed several identical keywords onto article and category pages but related articles shows only articles and won't show category page.

Any workaround?

Related Item Extended indeed a module for article only so I'm sorry, there is no workaround for this at the moment.
