with mini frontpage there is no dropdown menu anymore

hello,

first of all mini frontpage is a really cool module.
i am using the shape5 vertex template. there is a dropdown menu at the top (mainmenu).
if mini frontpage is published then the dropdowns arent working anymore. if i deactivate mini frontpage the dropdowns are available again.

can this problem be solved?
would be great.

This is probably a javascript confliction matter. Can you try to disable the jquery from the backend of Minifrontpage?

@ronysyz: its still enabled. at the moment its a grey box below the middle content.

@sikumbang: great, with jquery off the dropdown is working again

so that means, my template is loading jquery so that it can still stay turned off in mini frontpage?

Hi! I had the same problem. But I turned off "load Jquery" and all works good.

But what does it actually mean for miniFP? will it somehow influence?

@vshamraeva that means nothing as long as on that page still load jQuery from your template or other extension that might be needed. We just don't want jQuery to be loaded twice or more which might cause a conflict,
