Minifrontpage only pulling 404 Page
- Posted by M (8) Offline
Hi,
I was working a migration from joomla 1.5 to 3.4. The original site had minifrontpage.
A couple months ago, I was finishing a migration from 1.5 to 2.5.x on a dev server. I was converting a template and a few custom components. In this development site I upgraded to minifrontpage for 2.5. The module pulled categories as in the original 1.5 site.
Just this week, I started and am finishing up the migration from 1.5 to 3.4, and the minifrontapge for 3.4 is not working as the migrated site I mentioned above. If I select a category, the results are blank. But if a select "All Categories" it only displays the 404 page as an article in the list of available articles. I tried rebuilding categories, but that didn't do anything.
Thanks in advance.

Have you uninstall the module first and re-install the module using the joomla 3 version (mod_minifrontpage_j30)?

Yes. I just tried it again to make sure. One other thing I noticed. If a keep "All Categories" and add any other category. No articles appear in the list. Including the "404" page that display only if "All Categories" is selected.

Hmm strange, I'm unable to replicate the problem at my end. Please see www.dropbox.com/s/op5zgb0xtwn8tb6/mfp.mp4?dl=0
Can you tell me what settings do you have in the minifrontpage backend?

Hmm I have copied your configurations to my local copy and still, it works properly. Is the website already live or still on your localhost?
