Mini Frontpage problem
- Posted by Huw Perkins (7) Offline
I have Mini Front Page on the homepage of my site to show recently added products, it looks great except the title does not link to the products, when clicked on it just reloads the homepage. My site is backgardenbee.co.uk/, if anyone could have a look I would be most grateful.
Cheers.

Hi, I've checked it here, and it looks like the title is already linked properly?

That is strange, I have checked it on Chrome, Firefox and IE and get the same result every time, it looks like it is connecting to the product and the url changes but all that happens is that the homepage is reloaded.
This is the url that appears : backgardenbee.co.uk/index.php/16-product...ntioxidant-bath-bomb
But the url that should be loaded is this one : backgardenbee.co.uk/index.php/shop/bath-...ntioxidant-bath-bomb

I am using J2 store as an ecomerce component so the menu item is J2Store » Product List Layout

It's a likely because the known issue of joomla item id. Can you try to create a hidden 'blog category' menu for the shop/bath-bombs page?
From your menu manager (Menus > Menu Manager) create a new menu. Name it Hidden Menu (or anything you want it).
Then create 'Category Bog' menu items under this newly created Hidden menu, for all of your article categories (including the shop/bath-bombs category).
