Related Items logic?

The logic of the module is confusing or perhaps I am doing something wrong. I have website with fruits and vegetables, I tagged apples with apples and oranges with oranges, but the module mixes them up because they are all tagged with fruit. Why is it mixing them up?

Th related item extended is developed based on joomla default related item module, so the logic is same. It will the find the tag similiarity between articles
