Latest News + How to add new template layout?

Hello all!
Please help! I created a new file and copy to tmpl folder. But in the list of template layout I can see just 1 template layout "default". How I can add my own template layout and seeing him in the list of template layout?

Hi DIma, simply duplicate the file
modules/mod_latestnewsplusdate/tmpl/default.php
into
modules/mod_latestnewsplusdate/tmpl/mylayout.php

I did this, but in the list of Alternative Layouti see just 1 Layout - "default"

Do not use underscore for your template name. Use dash instead, for example, you can change the file name from date_news.php to date-news.php
