miniftrontpage module image crop issue

The css code won't change thumbnail generation process. And the first post is crop from center/middle of image. Please have a look at the image below, I have marked the crop area with red line/square


 

It's possible in the pro version, because minifrontpage pro has more advance thumbnail settings. In minifrontpage there's Crop option where you can define the crop starting point.



or there's also option to not cropping the image but to resize.
