Responsive Banner Slider doesn't show

I've set up the module in my joomla 2.5 and all, but when you load the page it shows the banner only for a sec and then it disappears. I have a simple Image slider now because RBS doesn't work at the moment.
Any ideas how to make it work and what it interferes with?
My joomla template works with jQuery v1.9.0.
