Related Item Extended random order

Hi!
I am very happy with this module, props for your hard work! But I've noticed something weird, I don't know if I am doing something wrong or there is something wrong with my articles structure.

If I choose RANDOM ORDER using Tags, it always shows the articles in the same order, I can refresh the page as much I want but the articles order is always the same.
But, if I choose RANDOM ORDER using Meta keywords, it randomizes the display.

Well, I may be misunderstanding the concept, what I imagine is that random order will "sort" the order which articles will be displayed, even if there is just 3 articles, one time it will show article "A", "C" and "B" - after refresh it would show something like article "B", "C" and "A" and so on.

Any tips?

Regards,
Alex

Hi Alex, I came to the forum to ask this exact question. I have Joomla 3.3.1 using TAGS and am not able to get the articles in a RANDOM order. I watch this with interest but I would have hoped that the developer would have responded by now. Otherwise this is a nice module for joomla.

Can you point me directly to the page where you have it so I can see it?

Hi Admin, you can also look at the footer on www.dempseywood.co.nz/dw_v3/. The display order appears to be the database ID for the article.

Hi!
Sure, you can see it here: www.zpeed.com.br/miscelanea/jogos/67-gri...t-esta-chegando.html

At the right side, named "Artigos Relacionados" and at the bottom "Isso também pode te interessar".

Thanks.

Hi badbacchus,
I have made some changes to the script and re-uploaded it. Can you please re-download it and let me know whether it's working or not?
