I am having another problem: the author is not appearing, it looks like as it's got been hidden in the next line or something - should I open a new post?

Hi zuotoski,
For the Author name please make sure you have entered the alias name of author everytime you create an article:

Right, thanks... unfortunatelly for my needs, sometimes the alias must be empty... but I can find a solution (like hide the author in the module)

Ah ok, adding the real author name will just add another additional query to db that's why we just use the alias name.
