Where is Exclude category id(s) option

I found it can work with exclude all sub category ids, but it still not work with only exclude parent category id.

It's the native joomla behaviour, every category has it's own id, so if you need to enter all of parent and sub category.

Btw, how's about the SQL error? Does the problem persist?

sometime to exclude all of parent and sub category is very difficult，how to add "only Select related articles based on category id(s)"?
